Ken Flewellyn’s “Stay Gold” at Thinkspace Gallery.
Opening Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City, California is the phenomenal solo exhibition of brand new paintings entitled “Stay Gold” from artist Ken Flewellyn.
The visually entrancing and often dream-like, lyrical work by Flewellyn is inspired by his life-long love for the golden age of hip-hop, which he experienced as a child coming of age in the mid-1980s. Combining nostalgic ideals with Japanese culture and aesthetics, Flewellyn is able to transcribe a vision wholly original and fresh.
“Stay Gold” will be on display until August 26th, 2017 and should absolutely be visited if able.
